Adding a personal touch to funerals in Geelong.
Our funeral directors can provide creative guidance and advice on your loved one’s celebration, and can assist with ideas on how to tailor funeral services to include special and personal touches.
Butterflies
Releasing butterflies is a unique and memorable way to honour your loved one. More information is available upon request.
Candle lighting
Lighting a candle in memory of your loved one is a moving tribute that can be incorporated into the funeral service.
Dove release
To release a white dove as a vivid symbol of hope can be a beautiful tribute, providing family and friends with a unique way to say a final goodbye. White doves may be released either outside the chapel or at a graveside service. Doves may be released from a basket or by hand.
RSL service
The Returned and Services League of Australia can assist in conducting a funeral ritual segment for members that highlights the services of the deceased to their country, both in conflict and in peace. Traditionally these rituals are conducted by a member of the RSL and may include an Australian flag, the Last Post and Reveille, laying of red poppies, or a guard of honour.
We are also pleased to offer live stream live streaming for funerals held in our Geelong funeral home.
