Eddie GODFREY

Passed away peacefully on the 12th November 2020, aged 80 years.
Dearly loved husband of Lyn, for 55 wonderful years.
Loving father and father-in-law to Vanessa and Dean, Matthew and Kate.
Cherished ‘Gerald’ of Matthew, Emma, Cailin, Eryn and Jessica.
May the road rise to meet you, may the wind be always at your back, may the sun shine soft upon your face and the rain fall soft upon your field and until we meet again may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

  2. Dear Lyn, Vanessa & Dean, Matthew & Kate and families.
It saddens us that we were unable to be with you today as you farewell Eddie & Uncle Eddie but we were grateful to be able to attend his beautiful service virtually. You are in our hearts today and always. Sending you all our love xxxxxxxxx

  3. Auntie Lynn, Vanessa and Matthew. I cannot believe that at the beginning of 2020, Uncle Eddy was fit as could be when we met on the central coast. I have warm fond memories of visiting you at Campbelltown enjoying a bbq, a drink at Campbelltown Catholic Club or sharing a bottle of Grandfather port with Uncle Eddy. It was all thanks to Debbie that I originally was introduced to your family and for that I am eternally grateful. Matthew, finally I realised after we left Auntie Shirley’s funeral that you were little Matthew from Campbelltown and still feel silly for not connecting the dots. Please accept all my love at this sad time.

  10. I’ve many happy memories of my time with Uncle Edward and Auntie Lyn when I came over for my medical elective…I’ve even still got my Sydney Swans top (ready for another visit if I’m allowed back in the country with my outstanding parking fine!). Although we are on the opposite side of the world we are all with our ‘Aussie family’ today. Thinking of you all and sending you lots of love and a big Scottish hug, love Derek, Emma, Noah, Poppy, Jonah and Oscar xxxxxx
